Yo! I wanna go shopping. Yo! I wanna go pub hopping. Yes! Lower parel has some exclusive points for shopping and pubbing which can be termed as ‘Mecca’ for fun lovers. And the day I decided to go to the ‘BlueFROG’ with my friends, I was more than excited because one of my friend’s cousin was the chosen artist playing in their lounge. (Psst! The cousin happens to be a renowned artist in USA.)

The entrance isn’t very fancy. But once inside, you are transported to a different world altogether. The entrance fee is Rs 300/person (subject to change in future) but the experience is worth it. They put a 'BlueFrog' entrance stamp on your arm and you feel that you are ready to hop around the entire evening. Many believe that this restaurant is on the steeper side but the kind of environment it offers is much more thrilling than what they charge. They have regular gigs from various artists across continents. The stage where the artists perform is well designed and the light and sound show just grabs your attention completely. You can feel the music resonate behind and under your seats because of the high-end music system fitted in the whole lounge. Check out their gig calendar for future programmes:

BlueFrog has a world class restaurant and bar which caters to all kind of cuisines and drinks. The style and presentation is modern European with underlying Asian textures and subtleties that leave you wanting for more! Hints of flavours range from the south of India to South East Asia. It has a wide range of premium wines, champagnes, single malts, spirits, cocktails and mock-tails which set you in the right mood. They also offer a Sunday brunch for the whole family where buffet of selected delectable dishes are laid for your tasteful pleasure. The buffet includes an array of cold meat platters, exotic cheeses, pastas and seafood salads, eggs to order, pancakes, waffles and French toast in many fruity options, grilled lamb, beef, chicken, fish and prawns prepared with marinades, a wide spread of deserts that include delicacies like tiramisu in a waffle cone, crème brulee, to mention just a few.

A must visit for any music enthusiast who love global music.
